Established in 2003, Surforce Energy Group is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, production, and innovative application of advanced materials. The company has established long-term strategic R&D cooperation relationships with nearly a hundred well-known enterprises and brands both domestically and internationally, with customers spanning the globe. It provides innovative product planning services and solutions for Fortune 500 companies in China, Japan, Europe, and other regions, empowering industrial clients to co-create technological breakthrough products and achieve commercial success.
The group's R&D center is equipped with a domestic standardized "Innovation Laboratory," featuring comprehensive testing and development facilities, including heat retention equipment, moisture permeability testers, moisture absorption and heat generation testing devices, scanning electron microscopes, and thermal insulation testers. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Qingdao Surface Energy New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., possesses a self-developed nanofiber membrane production line with an annual capacity of up to ten million meters. Utilizing world-leading electrospinning technology, this production line enables large-scale, wide-width, low-cost, continuous, stable, and high-quality production of nanofiber materials.
Another wholly-owned subsidiary, Qingdao Shengyaqi Textile Technology Co., Ltd., operates an advanced intelligent factory equipped with the Canadian Elna hanging system. It features a mature JIT lean production flexible manufacturing supply chain and a comprehensive quality management system, with the factory certified under ISO 9001. The group is deeply committed to technological research and development, applying two core technologies—Surforce Surface Energy Nanotechnology and EOS Environmental Adaptability. Based on the human-machine-environment model (human-body [clothing]-environment), it enhances consumers' environmental adaptability; it also designs ready-to-wear clothing based on ergonomics to improve the microclimate comfort between the body and the inner layer of clothing. Additionally, the group has established a smart manufacturing R&D center to create a flexible supply chain with "small-batch quick response." Adhering to the model of "technology innovation - product development - market success," it provides clothing solutions based on technological materials for clients.
In line with national policy layouts, the group focuses on the significant strategic demand for nanofibers and has developed key technologies and equipment for the large-scale production of nanofiber membranes. After years of technical breakthroughs, it has created an integrated nanofiber mass production system, combining equipment, processes, and temperature and humidity control. It has successfully built one of the few self-developed nanofiber membrane production lines in the country with an annual capacity of up to ten million meters.
The large-scale production of Surforce nanofiber membranes, validated by market testing of production equipment and products, marks a crucial step in transitioning nanofiber technology from the laboratory to industrialization. This breakthrough has brought innovative materials to multiple industries, including textiles, filtration, medical, electronics, energy, aviation, and cosmetics, empowering industrial clients and further advancing the development of nanomaterial technology in China.
Since 2012, the group has participated in the formulation of functional standards, serving as a drafter for national and industry standards of functional textile materials. It has been involved in drafting 18 national standards (GB) and 16 industry and group standards, obtaining 24 authorized patents both domestically and internationally, and successfully developing over 50 new technologies and products.
