Hohenstein Textile Testing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Hohenstein is a family-owned company with more than 75 years of experience in testing, certification and research. With roots in the textile sector, the Hohenstein testing spectrum now includes both softlines and hardlines. Around the globe, more than 1,000 employees work on testing and service offerings such as testing for harmful substances, performance testing or fit testing.

As the founder and official certification body of OEKO-TEX®, Hohenstein participated in the formulation and writing of the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 standard in 1992. In addition, Hohenstein was the founder of the International Testing Association for Applied UV Protection and participated in the formulation of the UV STANDARD 801 standard, and is also the official certification body of RAL-GZ 992 and the certification body of PPE personal protective equipment. Hohenstein is also a medical product testing laboratory accredited by the German National Accreditation Board (DAkkS).
