Recycled Zipper
In order to comply with green production in the era of environmental protection, cherish resources and recycling
Whole chain of polyester and invisible zipper, as well as zipper tape of metal and plastic zipper are all made of polyester. The huge number of PET bottles that people throw away in their lives are also polyester materials. In order to protect the environment, recycling PET bottles into zippers and clothing is a goal implemented by global brands.
KCC has obtained "GRS Global Recycled Standard Certification"
Recycled polyester material
A large number of discarded PET bottles are serious to the environment and easy to recycle. The consistency of raw materials is high. Recycling extraction and reuse can not
only reduce the energy consumption of PET manufacturing, but also environmental protection and reduce pollution emissions.
Recycled procedure is PET bottles decontaminated, broken into small pieces and clean, after that melting and compounding into recycled PET pellets. According to different purposes, recycled PET will be made into monofilament to make zipper chain or
twist-yarnto make zipper tape.
Recycled materials can be used on the chain and tape of polyester zipper and invisible zipper. The utilization of recycled materials can reach more than 90% of full zipper tape.
Recycled materials can be used on the tape of metal zipper and plastic zipper.
The slider on the zipper and pin/box of open-end zipper are all zinc alloy.
It is also metal material that can be recycled, melted and reused.
The top stop and bottom stop of polyester zipper and invisible zipper can be used ultrasonic welded as stops. Traditional aluminum wire or copper wire can be replaced by PET flat wire.
